The history of the
farmstead starts with the land purchase document of the year
1870.
A year later the cottage rose which stands until today.
All this time the farmstead has been carefully looked after and
cherished. It has always had its landlord. The histories of
people and buildings of each period of time are preserved here.
The farmstead experienced the wars, epidemics and other scourges
of the world but remained worthy and steadfast. The orchards
destroyed by frost were replanted, down-breaking walls rebuilt.
The fire has been burning and the life has been going on here
already for the second century.
Centenarian tree alley will not allow you doubting of the
respect of hosts to the traditions and nature, and the old
double-stemmed oak is one of the most beautiful and thickest
trees in Lithuania.
In 2003 we left the town and started the second stage of our
life on our great-grandfather’s land. Now we can share this
spirit with you.
